Great shot. Perfect timing by the photographer.
We forget that Porsche still takes part in Rallye races
Its a great testament to Porsches reliability that they continue as
years before in these grueling races.
Can you imagine a GTR in this situation? the Tranny would be about
a even with the ground and a foot below the bottom of the car.

this is why im going to use a gt3 for tarmac rallying next year...
the gt3 is probably the best all round sports car that can adapt to many forms of motorsport..... it also make a great DD too

Rally is my favorite form of racing. I used to go every week to watch the rally race with my dad when I was a kid. My grandpa was a Renault engineer for rally racing mainly on the Alpine A110 back in the 70s. Before he was in road racing for Talbot-Lago, Bugatti, Alpha-Romeo and Mercedes. He did is all career for Levegh and Fangio (after the tragic crash of Levegh at the 24h of Le Mans in 55). He was a personal friend of Jean Bugatti. He never worked on Porsches though.
