Talking I'm Baack !

After almost a year without a GT3, I pulled the trigger on a GT Silver '07 today with 4k miles. Pics to follow.

CONGRATS and enjoy in good health. All the very best. Did you manage to find a low/"correctly" optioned one?

welcome back!!! Did you get it @ Barrier? I saw i silver and blue there last week. Trying to decide what to do. With mine at 58,000 and having it for almost 5 years it is time to move on. This is the longest I have ever had a car. Most are gone in 2 years. What's next: Lotus 240, 360, viper AC, 997 GT3 maybe a 964 race prepped

Ran,

Not quite, has Nav, but no dashboard wart, which I hate. I'm certain I can equalize the PCM weight with CF seats . PCCBS are a plus. I'll post pics in a few days.

Roberga,
Yes, I bought the GT Silver one @ Barrier. The Blue one also sold today.

Robin

I've had the 993TT too. Great car. In addition to PCCBs, I optioned my RS with Bi-Xenons too though. Of course I did not pay extra for paint
Cheers.

gtdrei, I doubt that Nav weighs that much but I could be wrong. I just did not want it since I've never optioned nav or any non-performance option on any of my cars but if I buy a used vehicle I probably would not care much unless I had to pay for options I dont like. I guess the only reason to chop off Nav, etc. may be because of the RS symbolising pure racing with minimal compromise so as to be streetable (by current stds not 1973 of course)
Glad you found one with PCCBs though.

Nav screen weighs about 10 ounces (souped up stereos are much heavier)...bonus of that is that you're never lost on the way to the track!

I had nav and no wart on my cobalt GT3 (sold) and did euro delivery...was very very happy I had it

Good one... It's so funny when people complain so much about the heavy options on GT3s which are basically street cars, and I guarantee that most of drivers have the most weight to trim from their waist and not the car!

A 21st century street of $100K cannot NOT HAVE Nav or Xenon lights... period.

you're right on a lot of points...I feel like nav is worth it's weight in gold, well maybe silver as gold is over 700 an oz, right?
