Did you buy Brian Terasawa's old GT3?
No, this car was originally titled in Ohio (1 owner CPO, etc)

robin: will you be out for AX? Only a couple to go.
Yeah, I'll definitely be at the next one, (street tires, TO) I have to figure out how this PASM compares with my old 996 GT3. I'm sure that PASM will be a bit of a letdown from the cup springs and Motons. I'm hoping it's good enough. The 996 GT3 Stock suspension was just not acceptable for any use IMHO. I've driven the 997 very little, but it definitely feels better than stock 996. I live on East Mercer, so the testing starts wednesday.

Robin,

I drove a stock 997 GT3 RS, and I can tell you that the right alignment and the standard setting of PASM is good for AutoX. You won't feel that much more power compared to a 996 GT3, and you won't see the 8,400 rpm redline either at an AutoX, but the 997 puts the power down much better, it has better brakes, and it doesn't get nasty on transitions. It will be faster. Just do the toe links for peace of mind and you're good to go.

I'm probably meeting Greg Fordahl in three weeks at Topeka. I'll be driving a loaner American Muscle from a NJ friend.

Yes, I don't have a GT3 anymore. I'm shopping for its replacement, it must be ASP legal in the SCCA.

I will be driving a Corvette at the SCCA Solo Nationals. I was told you drive them "Fast-In Slow-Out".

Cool First Pics

I'll have some time this week to get more shots, but here are the first 2. GT silver is a tricky color to photograph.

Congrats again. Looks great. Enjoy in good health. I miss the silver sometimes and, as in your case, I enjoyed several years with silver Porsches (Polar, Arctic but never GT in my case). Could not get myself to go for Silver w Orange wheels (although AK997TT's avatar looks quite nice).
