Default GT3 Makeover #2

OK, here are the new threads that I picked out for my GT3. I liked the Riviera Blue, but I like this better. Besides, I could easily switch back to the Riviera Blue if I wanted to (I have 3 sets of mirror housings, white, black, blue; and 2 wing tips white and blue).

You may also notice that my calipers have been painted yellow. I really like the look and decided I would just do it. Or did I switch to PCCB's? I forget???

Seriously, I did the PCCB swap and it was actually very easy. I did all the work myself and also switched to braided SS lines while at it.

The decals I had my friend design (easy to do) and I had them cut a few sets along with a couple sets of just stripes without the GT3. Also had them do this with my 60 yards of Riviera Blue material in case I want to switch back. I installed the graphics.

The wheels were painted locally along with the center caps. The caps were switched to silver on black instead of the original black on silver.

OK, blah, blah, blah. Here are the pics...

Looks super! I always wondered what the big appendage on the back was for. Now I know it's for catnaps!
Any chance your friend can email me the eps file for the graphics?

I will be vy worried if I see cats on my car....it's not the fur, it's the nails that may potentially damage the paint work

Dumb question time: Any reason that you went w/ PCCB after you purchased the car, instead of getting one that came with it? (because I'd guess that it is less economical to convert it yourself?)

Car looks awesome..

Stephen you can get rid of the cats with a BB gun or you can have one of my chihauhau's
They are great at chasing cats. Plus they are too short to get on the Car!!

Love the car. do you work for the Air Force?
I work for the Navy.

I almost fell in love until I say that hole on the top. Reducing the weight down low while keeping the extra weight on the top just increases your center of gravity, bad for handling.

Almost great car, almost congratulations.

I am sorry but I believe that even Rad cant tell the difference in the weight of the sunroof. I didnt want it either but I had a 996 with no hole and Now I have the hole in the 997. I am sorry but none of you guys can prove that it matters to drivers at our level. Even Rad. When you start showing up on TV I might listen to you but I have tracked both cars and the only difference is the superior handling and over all drivers experience of the 997 PERIOD
If your really hard over you could easily add some weight down low ala NASCAR and ballast it out, and lose some weight elsewhere. Really
