Lewis Hamilton loves the 997 GT2
Last thursday I drove my girfriend to get her nails done in Vesenaz, just ouside Geneva. I parked the car in front and sat on the pavement for 15 minutes because it was too hot. Lewis Hamilton comes running past with his personal trianer, stops to look at the GT2 and says to his trainer "wow look at that"... at which point I should have offered him a lift home, said hello, or just said anything... instead I just sat there with my mouth open. Everybody I have told was 100% uninterested, I thought maybe you listers would appreciate how cool that was.

I would have said "So Louis, I would hand you the keys but after that video that I saw of your Dad trashing that borrowed CGT, I am not so sure about the Hamilton men and borrowed cars"

" Dont let your dad drive it "
If i could have gathered myself up i would have asked him to sign the car somewhere !

Not a good idea to loan him the keys in the Principality, you know, red traffic lights and all!

Seriously for a moment
Having met several "famous" people and spoken about just such situations I can tell you that many would thank you for allowing them to just be "someone on the street"
Unless you're one of those schitzophrenic "Pop Tarts" or you and your spouses names are combined (Brangelina) it's safe to assume you're not looking for recognition everywhere you go and it's nice to be left alone.

yeah I hate it when people bug me around town -- all the looking and finger pointing... "heh, there goes the best forklift salesman in the country"... it really gets old quickly.
