Ah ha! I knew that deep inside you are a closet Lotus lover. Finally, the truth comes out.

You must live in the "slums"; up here the "dicks" have been trying for a $100K over.

Some day I will tell the story of Penske's "King Dick" and his incredible stupidity.

I hope it is a good car. I have been trying to buy a GT2 since the 993 GT2. I just refused to pay over MSRP. I have had 24 Turboes over the years so I hope this one is the Holy Grail. Thanks

congrats - nice purchase - enjoy the car
didn't even take as long (year end) as I thought it would for prices to fall to msrp
will now wager that they will break msrp by year end

again, congrats on buying a fantastic car

can you let us know what state this occurred in? - thanks

ps. just spoke to my p-car salesguy and they turned down a much higher than msrp offer and turned it down - now they are feeling they made a big mistake as "Porsche" is informing them price is rapidly moving to MRSP

Albuquerque has one right now. It is spoken for but went for MSRP (dealer's policy). I will check it out tomorrow; it is white with red wheels, should be interesting.

Have any of you checked out Richard Sloans cars.. www.sloancars.com

He has 2 GT2's and 2 RS's for sale .. all at well over msrp. I wish him no ill, but 200k for an RS is gouging at its best (or worst).

I went to go him, maybe 2 years ago. I met him at his warehouse. There were a lot of cars in there. He is / was pricey and while he may post pics of cars he does not actually have - and I don't know that he does - he had the car I inquired about. Pity his prices are just that bit too high.

pity there are other features about him that are even less attractive

colm,

N CA you chose it!!!!

now enjoy watching those dealers fry!!!!
they're gonna have fun trying to pay the rent and flooring costs while we buy cars for 25% UNDER INVOICE!!!

Porsche, previously "the most profitable car company" and now just... holding the bag

Watt,

I am sure sure Penske will fry in the hottest oil.

Anybody who buys a car from them has paid to much, they have no respect for their customers.

If Penske can "dick" you they will.
