Default SharkWerks/RoadSport Supply GT3/RS Exhaust Tips

Hey folks, just a quick note to say thanks again for all the support and to let you know that we've now got some larger/lighter tips. Over the last few months some of you with our bypass set up have requested some larger (and affordable) tips and so we've partnered with our friends here in Californa at RSS (RoadSportSupply of the IPD Plenum fame) to produce a batch which will be available next week:

http://www.sharkwerks.com/products.php?pid=173

These larger 87mm tips have been ceramically heat treated with a satin black finish to remain OEM-like in both fitment and appearance. As an easy ten minute bolt-on, our tips are designed to fit the stock exhaust system, our muffler bypass and/or any after-market exhaust system that accepts factory-style tips. We actually shaved .75 pounds off of the stock units (wee!) and they're roughly 2 pounds lighter than some of the heavier after-market set ups. During testing on local tracks (mentionind no names Fred!) we even encountered instances of after-market and stock center sections cracking due to the added stress of increased weight from larger/heavier tips suspended out the rear on an already high temperature and metal-stressed area.

Fitment:
Works with SharkWerks Bypass System
Works factory Exhaust
Works with after-market systems that accept factory tips

For those of you interesed in a set feel free to contact us alex@sharkwerks.com or Greg on sales@roadsportsupply.com

Hey Alex, does this mean I get to replace those extra heavy aftermarket tips on my 3 that I got for xmas last year? You know, that ones that James had to bang on with a sledge hammer to get them to fit?

Awright, sign me up for two sets so I can pop them on both cars. Looking good!

Alex:
Here is an idea, can you produce this tips with a colored ring on the "tip of the tip" in order to match your deviated stiching, brake calipers, rims, etc.

Must say I never thought of that... I guess we're trying to keep things looking oem-ish rather than flashy but I don't that wouldn't actually work in the real world due to issues of heat....
