Agree totally. I think it is so ignorant to correlate Boxster with Gay/Hairdresser, what does the car have to do with sexual preference? LOL just find it funny.

If you knew my wife it is the same as saying I bought a girls car. No question that the slam was directed at me. Wonder what they think of the car?

I think silver/red is a classic color combo - My Testarossa was silver/red (bordeaux) and my current 550 is titanium/bordeaux.

Every who asked about the TR and 550 initially cringed when they heard the color combo but changed their mind when they saw it in person.

It is nice to have something different - Thats why I ended up with a green GT3 RS.

my sister considers my RS a girls car b/c it's orange and she keeps driving it.

That's not red it is pink. Boxster with Pink seats and pink roof is not gay (cars have no sex) but it looks like a girl's car...

I am setting in the garage looking at the car setting next to the orange one and I really like both cars for very different reasons. Both are very fun to drive but my "gay car" is a blast around town. The orange car is fun but it attracts too much of the wrong kind of attention. Glad Porsche decided to sell orange Boxsters and glad we have four race track close by

while i agree there may be just a bit to much red (the roof/floormats/wheel could or should be black) its hard not to love that car once you've driven it.
as far as being gay, just get a personalized plate "Not Gay" and you will be good to go.
