There was a Red GT-2 at this years NYC auto show. What a beautiful car. It was my second favorite at the show next to the McLaren SLR race car at the Mercedes booth.

anyone who'd pay 100k over needs his head examined. any dealer that would have such little respect for themselves or buyers to be willing to ask for 100 over should have their allocation cut or go back to selling hondas kias or saturns

Sorry to hijack, but are you doing the BR school, and if so which one? I saw they had the cars lined up when I was there last Monday.

I'm highly interested in it and would appreciate opinions.

My appologies to the original poster........... Yes, I am attending the 5-Day Road Racing School by Bertil Roos. Just completed day-1 on Sunday. So far so good!

Erik:
They speak very nice of you.

Boyd, are you kidding me or are you serious. If you are serious, they probably feel bad about screwing me out of my 2007 RS, and then trying to give me the 08 RS, but spec it out like you would spec out a Cadillac and tell me they can't change the specs anymore. Then when I get upset about that, they want to sell me the first GT2. I told them that I would have no trust in being put on their GT2 list, since they did not honor their last 2 commitments either. And then it took them more then 6 weeks and me having to drive down there personally to get my deposit back that they had been holding for over a year for my RS. As stated before, I do like some of the sales guys there, but already told Joe that had souered on Braman, and he "could completely understand" and actually feels bad about how they treated me.

Was looking in dealer's window last Sunday at a green RS on the floor. There was a silver TT blocking my view. After a few minutes, I realized the silver TT was a 7GT2! It looks good, but really quite understated, particularly in silver.

Erik:
It is who you deal with. I have purchased all my cars from Chip Davis and he has been a great help.
See you at Homestead.

Boyd,
I went down there on Monday to take a look. They already had a sold sign on it. The salesman said it sold in less than 24 hours of being put on the showroom floor. And the salesman seemed to imply it sold for the full 100K over sticker!

Matt:
I was told it sold for $291,000.00 so that would be around $85,000.00. I guess if you have all the money and like the car it does not matter. Maybe we will have the chance to buy it in a few years for $100,000.00 to $150,000.00 and my guess is that it will have very low mileage. However, what the hell do you do with it?!?

With the economy in the tank, you better believe these things are going to drop in price....
