yesterday, i drove my 6GT3 at laguna with a bunch of buddies. drove home, out of tires and no pads left. too lazy to change them.
today, i drove my RS to laguna and continued the fun with more friends.
and THEN drove to daycare and picked up my daughter and went home for dinner
btw, she loves to grab the shifter so i had to make sure i am on the clutch then have her pull the lever....

they have several, but this is the one that covers the largest range of age group. it's adjustable, the seat back grows with kid and can also be widened.

i also stuff foam into air box.
i dont use turn down anymore, useless.
if i use foam and lift and move off line, i am 91.8db, sunny day.
of course.... at the 2nd to last lap, i went full bore, WOT on line, 1:40. i have done 1:39 before.
then the next lap... meatballed
245 R888 front
305 RA1 shaved to 4/32
get your car to christian g. at carlsen. he has some vacuum line technique to cure that prob. johannes van overbeek was there in a street RS. before he dumped me in 6-7 turns, he was WOT up the hill and no sound issues. christian did the vacuum trick on that car.

So, you're about 1 second faster on the 997 RS, using similar tires.
What kind of lap times was Overbeek running?

i would say JVoB was 1:38 or 1:39. he's on 19" R888.
jeff r was on hooser, 4:1, consistant 1:38 lap after lap.... either he or his car is on drugs
