Default PSA: Hoosier just released a 315/30/19 R6 - yeeha ...

- should mate up nicely with the 235/35/19 front
- better than the previous 295/30/19 rear choice for those with 19s already

- someone please run these asap because i want to try them in 4weeks and it would be great to get feedback

- i personally called hoosier after seeing a post on 6speedonline
- they confirmed they do exist - you can find them on their website
- tirerack has them in stock, not on their website specs, but I called them and they have them
- at tirerack, they are $379

This is for cars with PCCB, right?
With regular iron rotors 18" is the size to use.

My 18" CCW C-14's will work with the latest and largest generation PCCB's.

Wanna buy them; they are like new?

9" front with correct offset for 997 GT3 and weighs 20.5 lbs.
12" rear with correct offset for regular 997 GT3 and requires removal of the factory spacer and weighs 23 lbs.

Going once...

Paul, how do think the 235 F will fare with the 315R? A little understeer?

A 255 would be better but a 235 hoosier is going to have way more grip than a 235 mpsc

The 235/35/19 Hoosier is actually wider than the 245/35/18 Hoosier, which already corrects just about all of the understeer of the 997's. I think the 235/315 19" combo may give a sight hint of understeer vs the 18" combo but the >12" rear tread is going to really going to allow some fantastic track out speeds

I can live with a tiny bit of understeer - ploughing understeer is what I'm trying to cure plus getting way more grip

No excuses for being slow now

Paul
