that's what I figured...I like the looks of the R8 but I've got a car with the same engine/exhaust already (RS4)- at the time it was the best daily driver in my range, and I didn't want to get into force-fed mercs...

last MB question...how does it shift? I've used the E55AMG button/switch things before and didn't find too much fun. you really need to post a pic of ALL your cars together.

I do not think he will be able to recoup the $$$ he has into it as he paid a pretty significant premium.

If you pay $155K, he loses $18K... that is $13.85 per mile driven

So throw in gas/insurance etc and it is like driving down the street letting a $20 bill go out the window every single mile...
Paint that picture and then follow up that you are actually doing him a favor taking it off his hands.
