Default Paint codes

Does anybody have the following paint codes:

Riviera Blue
Mexico Blue
Gulf Racing Blue

Thanks in advance.

Also, if you have a recommendation for a shop that does Porsche vinal decals with a quick turn-around time, I would appreciate that also.

Thank you,

Stephen

I like the Tercel idea. I should get some decals that read "TOYOTA RS" on the side. I think I will do that.

I am doing some painting mostly.

That would be rad to paint a gulf deal in your garage...crap why do I give all my ideas away for free like that??

if you do a toyota RS- you should drop in a supra motor...or at least the elise/celica one.

So back to paint codes; anybody have them, or a link to them? I already tried Renntech and all they have are 2001 and up.

PM or email Eric at bumperplugs. He might be able to furnish you with the paint formula. You know, "a dash of this and a pinch of that."

That site only has Riviera Blue, and it is showing it as 39E/S8

Where did you get the code for the Gulf Racing Blue?

Either way, thank you very much!

Search Pelican 911 Technical Forum or Early 911S Registry. You'll find them in about 2 minutes. Keep in mind "Gulf Blue" is a different color, depending on the year. I believe it was originally darker than what you would see on a Wyer 917, but become that color later (in the 1970s).

Just post what you want (at RennTech) and we will look them up.

Yes, the above paint sample is what I was talking about: the early Golfblau was much darker than what people think of as Gulf Blue - you need the LWB color code.

For Riviera and Mexico Blue you could ask the 993 forum guys...I'm sure someone there will know.
