Default WANTED: 19" 997 GT3, OEM Wheels... or, High End 19's... Full Set of 4

I'm looking for a full set of 4 - 997 GT3 Wheels, 19" and prefer OEM.

Will also buy full set of 4 strong aftermarket wheels, such as Fikse, BBS, HRE, etc.

Wheels must be straight, in good condition, and without tires.

Thanks

I don't know their pricing, but I believe they take trade-ins. So maybe they have a set of used GT3 wheels that they will let go at a nice discount. As for their price on a brand new set, I don't know.

I'll check them out.

By the way, will the Turbo 997 wheels work on the 997 GT3? Offsets?
Not sure, but I believe the rears on the Turbo are only 11" (?) and the GT3 is 12".

Don't think so... turbos are wide body and GT3s are narrow body

OK, for argument's sake...

If I put on the TT wheels on the GT3...

How would the wheels look with the TT offset...

Set-IN more, or sticking OUT more ????????

They would stick OUT more.

Assuming that the follwing offsets are correct, here are the differences you will see on the front and rear.

Front
GT3 8.5 et 53mm
TT 8.5 et 56mm
Going from the GT3 to the TT wheel, the outside (face) of the wheel will RETRACT by 3mm and the inside will have 3mm LESS clearence. Should not be a problem.

Rear
GT3 12.0 et 68mm
TT 11.0 et 51mm
Going from the GT3 to the TT wheel, the outside (face) of the wheel will EXTEND by 4mm and the inside will have 30mm MORE clearence.

FYI

I checked with Wheel Enhancement about a set of GT3 wheels using my new 997 TT wheels as a trade. Their response was as follows:

"a set of new 8.5x19" and 12x19" Porsche Factory 997 GT3 RS wheels is $6,268.00, plus shipping. Your set of 8.5x19" and 11x19" Porsche Factory 997 Turbo wheels is worth $700.00 in trade"

I wonder what they would then charge someone for the new TT wheels that they gave $700 for? I think I will pass.
