18" wheels/tires
tracky alignment
rad custom helmet

I figured that I might as well ruin my current tires before actually swapping in the 18" ones. by next year this time I should actually be fast in the car. but I'll probably still be slow

CJ You gotta go call Alex @ Sharkwerks for the exhaust!!

You know, it's cool to see people actually USING these cars! Between the blue GT3 and this RS that's what about 4k in how many days with the cars? What a great way to break in new cars and not one but two trips burned into your memory! Thanks for the new desktop (although I seem to have changed it a million times since finding RL!). Have a blast with the new toy and keep the rest of us posted(again you can never post too many pics!).
Tim.

C.J.

Congratulations, continue to enjoy in the best of health.
I too enjoy reading your write-ups, experiences and conquests.

I hope to see you in Seattle soon, my club house days may be over as a result of the Mitchel Report though.

Keep in touch.

That would be a great poster indeed. Just hope you didn't mean 20' X 30'

hey snowboarder, I took some more footage of it "railing" in 4th gear on the dyno yesterday. Hopefully the mic didn't get distorted and I'll throw a video up

PS Are you back yet?

Beautiful and congrats! I just can't get enough of the RS.

I like the lack of nipples; good choice. What are the options on the car?

As for LWFW, I have mine already from Sharky ready to install; I hope it is everything all the RS guys say it is........I know it will be.

You mentioned a lightweight exhaust? Go with the Shark Werks muffler delete. It is a high quality piece that knocks off 16 lbs (I did verify this) and sounds unbelievable. It has just the right amount of DB's and it gives the car the sound it needs. It does not drone, and it allows you to use all of the stock components which Porsche did a fabulous job with. And you can still turn it off with the sport button. I just pulled the plug to keep it permanently on; it just sounds too good.

I too was looking at the Cup rotors with the hats. I really think this is the way to go. You might want to check out FVD as they have them.

Again, your car is just unbelievably bad ***; and so was the photography.

Thanks. I used the small picture CJ posted (I guess 800 x 600). If he has it in a bigger size we can work it for a poster to your garage

Wow! Congrats CJ! I still smile when I drive....it just won't go away. I wouldn't change your rotors or brakes until you wear them out. They are really good for stock brakes. Do the clear shield right away...get tear offs for your windscreen before your track, if you track a lot. Sit in the seats before you change...I would probably do 996 GT3 seats knowing what I know now, as I will probably trash my ultra expensive alcantara/leather ones anyway. But, definitely do something with a harness so you'll be driving instead of holding on for dear life. Do one maybe two track events before you change the alignment...you'll be amazed to see the difference. Cory from Autometrics (awesome driver) did a 1:18 in mine yesterday with basic manual track alignment with a little extra camber on the front, stock brakes and rotors and lowered 13mm. 996 cups are doing 1:16 with decent drivers (roebling). I'm also running CCW C14's with Toyo R888's. Thanks Moot...Bob Woodman has the best price in the country!! Exhaust is really cool, but I would wait on it...everyone I encounter loves the way mine sounds stock. Enjoy!!
