Default Nike GT# RS racing shoes

Anybody hear about or try out these running shoes yet?

Next time you put the pedal to the metal, why not do it a pair of Porsche branded Nikes?

These Nike Air Max Light shoes were inspired by the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. The car will be created in silver, black, orange and green, and the footwear colors will be a direct reflection in the same shades, as well as having shoe tongues emblazoned with crests containing the Porsche logo.

In December, these special edition shoes were presented to Porsche staff members in Germany. They are going to be worn by the racing team maintenance crew.

I'm for sure getting the black with orange sole and the silver with orange sole. too bad they're too tall for actually racing in them though...they should make real low profile boots too

I agree, back in 85/86 myself and a friend used to do some PR work for Dwight Gooden & the NY Mets Nike gave us a 2 year merchandise contract since then I have been loyal to the brand.

Don't think Nike would ever, in a million years, do a GB.

those shoes soles look too thick and bulky to me for serious driving or driving on the track in a DE or race.

That's what I'm trying to figure...where can one buy these shoes. I see that the soles are too thick for track, but they look cool and a 'must have' for RS owners.

Yeah, cannot imagine they are great for driving, but they are cool looking. So is your RS by the way.
Figured I could buy a pair of these and click the heels together, "there's no place like an RS"...LOL!
If I find 'em I'll post it ...likewise anyone else.

I tried a few search engines most of the web stuff was just posted in the last few days on these and some say it was a limited run for the Porsche team only. I did send an e-mail to the company that appears to have partnered with Nike "purchaze".

So not sure if they will be available. If I get a reply I will post the info and ask about a gb.
