Default Sat/Nav for RS ?

Where is the best place to get the navigation module for my RS. After seeing most other RS's with a PCM. my car interior looks bare without one. So I figure I may as well install one and complete the boulevard cruiser package. It may prevent me from getting lost at the local autocross course....waaaay too many cones. ,

Is Suncoast still the best price in town?

Just like their car prices, Porsche parts prices are still 40-50% higher north of the US border.
When will PCNA adjust it's pricing policies to reflect the strong, over par, Cdn. $

Sunset Imports in Oregon sells parts at cost +15%. Many guys on the 996 Forum use them for OEM parts. Not sure how Suncoast pricing compares to Sunset pricing.

RaceRon you were the first to tell us you were disappointed in the RS. Now youre putting a Nav module in yours? I thought you would have sold it by now! Really, can you give us your thoughts now with a year under your belt, on your car and how you would make it better?
thanks

Buy a Garmin nuvi or the like and use it in all of your cars that don't have nav. 200-300 bucks, problem solved.

I bought a Magellan 4040 for my BMW X5 but I use it in the GT3 cause it has blue tooth.
All my vehicles have blue tooth except the GT3 and now it does. As a GPS Systems engineer for the
navy for 14 years the Magellan company has been around for a long time. It has the 20 channel SiRF
chipset which is state of the art in GPS chipsets. More and more companies are moving away from the
SiRF chipset because its expensve. GOOD but expensive. I still have a little SiRF keychain from 98 when SirF was giving them away at the GPS ION international convention in Nashville. Its shaped like a lil Surf board and it opens up bottles with its fin. VERY handy with Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

Racerron, The 997RS is a great "all purpose" Porsche. Maybe the best ever.
But, why a GPS? A GPS? Now you've confused everyone.
'Fess up, what gives?
Regardless, keep the edgy Avatar, it's a smile.
