a bit short to the dance on that one my friend= ctr3 is 380,000 euros. or about 9 caymans.

actually at the 24 hr 'ring race, there was a cayman gtr that my instructor drove with a gt3 RSR engine and stuff. he said it was amazing. also- porsche was so pissed and jerky about them making the car they actually put a ferrari logo on the front as a "thanks for the support porsche"

I'll get the pic asap- car looked bad a ss

I've been really impressed with the little seat time I have had in a Cayman S loaner. Adding a smidge of grunt to it would be unreal. Depending on packaging and heat issues, I'd like to see a hair dryer version with AWD as well. Porsche could make the R8 and GTR into obsolete jokes if it really wanted to.

Porsche has already made a Cayman with the good stuff in it. They called it the 911 GT1, a mid-engine 911!!!

The valuable Honus Wagner card was not a rookie card.

I should have written:

you may think that's a cayman but it isn't.
much like nascars has nothing to do with the cars you buy from ford/chevy.

If you haven't, I would suggest you guys drive a Cayman S. My son-in-law bought one and it's WAY more fun to drive than any 911 I've ever owned. If you want power, get a Z06 ;-)

I agree totally with the drive of the Cayman.

I just wish they would put a quality gearbox and engine (GT2/3 Turbo family stuff) in the thing...even with the same HP as it has now.

Quick Reply: Would you buy a Cayman if it had the GT3 running gear?
