Default Trade 997 GT3 for 997TT Cab?

Hey everybody! Just want your opinions on what I should do. Trade or sell 997 GT3 for a 997 TT cabriolet? Not into tracking the cars. Went to check out turbo cab today and the ride is awesome! All comments appreciated.

my pros and cons

pros: want a convertible, faster car, daily driver, wife can drive with Tip

cons: GT3 better looking IMO, GT3 more rare

sounds like you would be happier in the tt cab. the front bumper from the gt3 is easy enough to get if you like how it looks over the catfish look.

Don't want to be rude but why did you get the GT3 in the first place? because of the look and the rarity? Seems like you don't appreciate it for what it is if you even think of trading it for a TT cab.
The GT3 is a driver oriented car, a race car for the street... The TT cab is a ...Hum... a poseur car (never understood a sport car with no roof).
Well, if you are looking for big hp numbers and people seeing your wealth, the TT is for you...

TT cab is what you want.

GT3 is a poor fit based on what you described in your post.

but a GT3 front bumper cover and swap it. easily done.

Sounds like you'd be better off in the TT-cab. The GT3 isn't for everyone. Good luck with the trade.

TT for the street. It's a more refined auto for the street and you'll enjoy the top down effect. I would add that to the garage myself, but the divorce would cost me way more. Nothing wrong with a little power mixed with leisure driving.

Sounds like the TT Cab. Had a 996 TT Cab. Fine fine car! Loved it. Passed many a GT3 (996 & 997) at the track with it. Extremely capable car although that is not an issue for you are you do not track. Anyway, ultimately, the Turbo Cab is faster, safer, more practical...now I don't know about letting the misses drive it

Get the Cab...you will miss the GT3 every no and again. The sound and feel is just too intoxicating to completely forget, but when you drop the top on the cab a state of amnesia should take over to some degree.

If you are not happy with the GT3 get the TT. You should be able to sell the 3 without any problem. What options do you have? How many miles? How much for the car?

If you have no need for tracking the car and you can add your wife to the drivers and her enjoyment as well as yours, I would say the TT Cab would be a great choice. The GT3 is a great driving car and a good looking car, but the TT Cab is a great street car.

You would be very happy with the TT Cab, great car. Your GT3 remains at a very high value, so now is the time to make the switch.

Keep the GT3, and get the cab. It's the only way you won't be dissapointed in the future. Once you've experienced a GT3, you will never get it out of your blood.

I've got a March build TT Cab, but plan to keep my 3. I can see why you wnat a cab.
