I agree. Im a big fan of the Michelin PS2s. I like the MPSCs that came on my GT3 but it looks like they are going to need to be replaced at 4000 mi. Ouch!

Default MPSC compound

According to my dealer, the Cup tires that come OEM with the GT3 are a softer compound than the OTC MPSC tire compound - that might explain the wear.

That surprises me. Of course, heat cycles and track miles are different. How many cycles did you do with 700 track miles? How extreme?

I did a 650 mile 3 day weekend (open track Friday/263 miles) with Chin Motorsports at Watkins Glen on Fresh cup tires on 10/26. The weren't as good in the cold (average mid to high 40's), but better than PS2's would have been and ferocious in the rain. They never got really hot as they would have in the summer. They were in great shape at the end. I was really pushing hard and surprised at how little tread wear there was and their continued grip. (Just sold the car and tires)

But these were not the softer Porsche OEM Cup tires.

My car came with the Corsa system. they are excellent. I took them off the car the first month to save for the track. Have done two track weekends and the front have only lost about 1/2 a 32nd and the rear about 2 32nd. I think I can get maybe 3 more track weekends out of the rear and the front who knows. I am new at it so i am sticking with them wet or dry. I ran into allot of guys at Mid-Ohio who were using them for a rain tire. The tread ware rating is "60" I am running ps2's on the street. Since i am mellow yellow on the street, i could run recaps and it would not make much of a difference to me.

It wasnt available the last time I checked but that was probably a month ago or so

The P-PZERO is a new max summer performance tire Pirelli introduced, a standard tire fitted onto the Maser GT.
Basically it's P's answer to Bridgestone's Potenza RE01R or perhaps Mich PS2 tho IMO, I think PZero is a tad superior in terms of dry grip.

In other words, PZERO is positioned in between the PZERO Rosso and PZERO Corsa System

If the price is the same as PS2, I'd take the PZERO anytime.
