Default Any GT2’s ordered Paint to Sample?

I am hoping to get some feedback from anyone who has ordered their GT2 with the customer Paint to Sample color option? Has anyone in any part of the world ordered their GT2 this way and received confirmation that the order was accepted by Porsche? Your time in responding is appreciated.

I attempted the same at the dealer level and at PCNA level with no help. I am hoping Jan 2008 it will become available, as this is the time Porsche offers additional options / changes to their cars traditionally. At this time I have selected GT Silver Metallic as my choice.

I was told I can order paint to sample - but it would push build date - by 3 to 6 months.

I was told the same thing when I ordered an Orange C4S - the car arrived 2 weeks EARLY!!!

I think the problem here in US is the dealers don't want to muck around with it....it pushes the build date substantially and their cash-flow.

WTF ever happened to service!!!!

flip-flop grey and electric violet would look good in a bright climate.

I tried to order the rs green but they wouldn't let me. the dealer told me Porsche were not willing to do it. it may have been the dealer who wanted to get the order through ASAP. settled on red/red as below. build in january.

I personally don't think that the RS colors would suit the car as well...and the side air scoops and rear wing are primarily to blame- on the gt3 they're not there and carbon colored respectively.

I would get slate grey, although unlike robin would pass on violet colored wheels.

but hey theoretically you should be able to get macadamia brown and yellow wheels if you really felt like it!

I just ordered my GT2 Atlas Grey. Had to do the sport chrono plus, but not sure what for as it does not give any performace enhancement. Kept the wheels stock. Got the side skirts painted body color. Not much to add to this car...was wanting Cobalt blue, but they couldn't do it. What do you guys think about the Atlas grey on this car?

Atlas is gorgeous.

Subtle though.

I really like Viper Red and Riviera or Mexico Blue.
