can someone post the instructions for removing the rear bumper, I picked up a used set of pipes replacing the rear primary muffler, but they didnt come with the instructions, and I am thinking that
since it's wet this weekend I might pull the bumper and do the install myself!
TIA

its really simple. just take a close look at the already posted pics. thats all i used to take mine off but i can also provide a few pointers. just have a torx set handy. also, i didnt even jack up the car to remove the bumper or the exhaust.. but im sure it might be easier.
1. open the decklipd, there are 3 screws for each tail light. loosen the top and lower one, but not the center one. no need to pull them all the way out as the lights will already be free. just slide the tail lights straight out.
2. on the top of the bumper, right under where the deck lip latch would be.. there are 4 screws.
3. under the bumper i think there are 6 more screws.
4. in each fender well (where the end of the bumper meets the quareter panel), there is one screw in there.
5. under the car, there is an arm which supports the bumper (its easier to remove the screw on the car rather then the one on the bumper).
i think thats all the screws. then, just start where the end of the bumper meets the quarter panel.. gently lift it away from the car. it would help if 2 people did this, as the bumper will come right off.
also, you have to unclip the license plate lights from the bumper
thanks,

trivia info here; you see that bar code on the rear right hand side ... that was affixed to your car after being painted, then it is scanned and used by the factories "Just In Time" provisioning system to deliver the correct components to your vehicle as it travels from the top of the assembly line down thru the
factory. Only 2 robots on the whole line, the one that glues in the F/R glass and the one that mounts
the rubber onto the rims ... everything else is hand assembled on the line ... including the engine
which is on a separate line with the TT from the 3.6/3.8L Carrera engines
If you ever get the chance, do the factory tour ... it's well worth it ...

How in the hell do you get that T30 under the rear wheel arch out without pulling the wheel off!
When I reached this I gave up, put everything back on the car, went back upstairs had a beer and
sulked around the house for a couple of hours ...
I am much better now though!

thanks, I found the beer helpful, not in releasing the T30 but in dealing with the frustration!
