Noisy Brakes & Stuff

Noisy Brakes & Stuff
Am I the only one who has noisy brakes? My brakes screech and squeal whe I approach a stop. Is this a function of the stock brake pads which appear to be Pagid Yellows? Do I have to live with it or is there a fix besides changing the pads? Do any of you think the GT3 brakes are overboosted. They seem hard to modulate.

Hey Flash,
It must be a red GT3 thing Mine squeal like crazy, however there is a solution. You need to transfer some brake pad material onto the rotor; this can be done by doing hard braking from high speeds. This procedure will quiet them down for a week or two. Repeat as necessary.
The positives of this brake pad material far outweight the negatives if you track the car. I was able to brake hard lap after lap after lap without any fade. This was surprising as I needed Pagid Oranges on the twin turbo to keep them from overheating. The only downsides to this pad are excessive pedal travel when hot, high wear rate when tracked and noise when driven calmly.
In terms of modulation, on the street, they can be a bit grabby on initial application, but I think that is more a function of uneven pad deposits on the rotor. Once I do the procedure above, the car stops more smoothly. On track, the modulation feels great as I was able to adjust the braking performance exactly how I wanted in corner entry, etc. They felt fantastic on track.
For a street/track guy like me, this setup is perfect as I don't need to change pads back and forth.

Steel.
Thanks for the comments. I'll try that. The pads are painted yellow so Im assuming the stock pads are Pagid Yellows and are definetely track biased. I do track the car on occasion. Just hate pulling up to a light, trying to act cool, and have my brakes squeal.

oem pads is yellow and is made by pagid, but it's NOT pagid yellow RS19 or 29.
they are POS on track, not track oriented.
if you find them grabby on street, you haven't bedded them correctly.
once bedded, they are fine on the street and will not squeak.

How might one "bed them in?" I have one track day at Willow Springs and 1000 miles total on the car. What should I do to get rid of the squeal?
