Default Drove a GT3 today...........

Wow, what a car.

I drove it back to back with a Ferrari F430, Lambo Gallardo, and a Lambo Merci and the 997 GT3 is probably the best car I ever drove.

It was virtually a tie with the F430, but when you factor in bang for the buck, reliability, and maintence... I'll take a GT3 in Cobalt Blue please.....

You're one lucky guy to have driven all those cars back to back! I've never driven a GT3, but heard they are incredible cars. I've driven countless F cars, ranging from F40s, 288GTOs and Stradales. Personally, I'd love to have an F430. But you're right, for the best bang for the money and reliability; I'll take a GT3 in Colbalt, please! Go to the event in PA this weekend and maybe you'll see one there too!

It's at Pocono Raceway. You can get more info at the NNJR website (http://www.nnjr-pca.com/site/).

It would be a REALLY hard decision for me if i'd have to pick between a Stradale (w/stripe) and a 7GT3. I'd think i'd lean towards the F-car tho....just for its presense and rarity.

Read the link below, it has all the information you need. Also, there is a link at the 'very' top of all the forums right now that was put there by the Rennlist Admin. PM if you may go, I'll be there Sunday AM for a while taking some photos.

Hi,
I'm a new member to Rennlist and just had to say, I'm going to the Porscharama in Pocono tomorrow... this time as a spectator... in my 997 Cobalt Blue GT3. I couldn't get in to participate with NNJR, because the waitlist was so long.

... Also, PCA Riesentoter is having their Make A Wish 3-day charity track event at Pocono the following weekend. FYI.

That is a beautiful car if that is in your avatar? If you are there on Sunday I wont miss that car with PA plates. I wont be there tomorrow though. If I dont see you and approch you, enjoy the event.

Thank you for the kind words, guys. Yes, it is my actual car pic. It is a beauty! I was lucky enough to find one on the ground a few weeks ago and talked my way out of paying over sticker, too. I'll be at Pocono today (Saturday) this afternoon, but not likely on Sunday. If anyone sees me, say "Hey George!"
