If you want to be classic go full black.

Mine is basalt black and I have heard nothing but positive comments, even from people who normally do not like black cars ("too black"...whatever that means!). Because of the metallic flake in the paint it picks up different shades of blue, purple, silver, etc. depending upon the ambient light. My only comment though is there is A LOT of flake in the paint, so it is not really a true black, but more of a really, really, really....dark metallic grey/charcoal. "Almost black".

Both colors you have to keep clean though to look their best.

You should see these colors in real life though to help you decide. Pictures never do them justice.

Do you want black or not-really-black?

The metallic black will hide surface imperfections better.

Go solid black. Metallic black looks like dirty brown with sparkels in it.

Good choice! The masses prefer white, but, as far as I'm concerned, black is the most flattering color for the GT3.
