Have you acquired the 'device' from the police in Hermosa/Huntingdon/LongBeach (cant remember which) yet? It does help solve hassles.

Great story...reminds me of that time I did 110 around this slight bend in my NSX coming down the hill (road was clear, no cars, etc). Saw the cop parked in the parking lot. I knew I was snagged, so decided to pull over 1/4 mile. Took him about a couple of minute till he caught up. Came up along my side and said that he thought I was going to bite it on that corner. I told him about the handling of the car and offered him a drive to test it out himself. He just laughed and gave me a ticket for 85 and was able to take online course so nothing showed up on my records.
Cops are just like us. Just treat them with respect, chat with them and they'll do the same to you. Breaks up their day.

115 in a 55 in FL - I was polite and handed my FIA license to the FLHP Officer as well as my FL DL. The Officer complimented the car, a 993TT at the time, and gave me the ticket at 115 and let me go with no other issues.

You guys are missing the fun. Down here in Manila, we regularly test 300km/hr on Sunday mornings in a stretch of hiway heading south. Of course, we only do so very early in the morning when cars are sparse. On the back toads, 160km/hr are regular speeds.
