Default My 2008 GT3 Order is Submitted - YEAH

Its complete and loaded in the system. In the end, I went with the approach that less is more on this car. Its not a unique color or pimped interior, but I think it is just right for me. One of the things that I love the most about my 993interior is the 'business like' look/feel of it.

Now the waiting begins...4 months and counting

Since you got the xenons, I'd suggest getting the headlight nozzles painted to body color.

Congrats!

i know i am in the minority on this, but i dont like the way the painted ones look... somehow the chrome looks like it belongs there, while the painted version looks like some kind of growth or 'nipple' coming up out of the car

nice order, i do have few question

810 Floor Mats in Interior Color: what does that mean? your mats are silver?

XXZ Foot Rest Aluminum: you do know that this is NOT aluminum. it's plastic painted to resemble alum.

509 Fire Extinguisher: OEM is nice, but do take a look at it in person and also chk out the one from safecraft (bottle) and mounts (B&K or sharkwerks), they are much better and much easier to buy refill bottles or recharge as time goes on.

thanks mooty...

1) the mats are blackish/grey...whatever just comes standard
2) i wasnt aware of the foot rest being plastic... i was told that it matches the other pedals, and just thought that would be nice... thanks for the heads-up, i will probably eliminate this option
3) i will probably remove the fire extinguisher, but thought it would be helpful for the occasional track stuff to have it... i know that some others had posted about trouble finding them aftermarket that fit right, thanks for the suggestions

this car will be a weekend fun car with occasional DE

Nice. My production date is scheduled for Nov. 23 completion.

Ironically, I will be in Germany in October. I wish there was a way to go see it in production at the factory...

Nice!!! You also have to paint the front lip spoiler white i.s.o the factory black. It really makes he front end look a lot deeper and more aggressive.

Congrats in advance!

Better have a few of those spoiler lip painted in your garage, cause you're going to scrape them.....

Did the dealer have the 2008 order guide for you to use? Or did you use last years? No one seems to have any info on this.

the plastic, alum-look dead pedal does match the other 3 pedals, but it is still plastic. your call.

Jonathan,

I was actually surprised by the aluminum dead pedal option. If it was me, I'll leave it all stock and do after-market aluminum pedals for all 4 pedals. I just love my techArt pedal set, coutesy of Ruf.
