Default Fire Extinguisher Mounts

Looking to mount a fire extinguisher on the passenger side in my RS.

Would love some recommendations and any photos. I have the standard RS seats but will eventually go down the route of race style seats.

Anyone use a Brey Krause setup?

Check out sharkwerks website for fire extinguisher mount. I installed it on my 6 gt3 passenger side- but works on gt3 seats only(not sport seat). Mike

Since you have 996 gt3 seats I will give you one of ours I'm told it makes less noise and doesn't stick out as far etc... If you want Fits the safecraft...

I have the quick-release BK mount and a 2.5lb Amerex halon extinguisher mounted to the underside of the passenger seat, using some aluminum from Home Depot I crafted into a bracket. It moves up/back with the seat, and is not in the way of the passenger's legs.

This is in a 1966 912, but the idea's the same.

Brey Krause fits perfectly on my 996 GT3 seats provided you have their sub strap bar.

We got it to work on Fred's although we had to modify the bracket a little. If you're local we can do it.... I've got a set of the 997GT3 seats waiting to go into a customer's RS shortly so I could try and modify a few brackets if need be. I didn't think anyone would get those 10k seats

This is what is they look like but they were designed for the 996GT3 seats. The sub belt etc.. do get in the way a bit on the 997GT3 seats so I'll play with that next week and figure it out

Thanks guys I will get on it. I just need to know roughly how many want to keep the stock seats and how many want to use it with 997GT3 seats or 996GT3 seats All have to be different (thanks Porsche).
