what a blast
spent 3 days at thunderhill, lots of 6gt3 and 7gt3 and many rennlisters.
pat (family car), carlooz (carlos), speed demon, doug (lawlj ???), early apex (eric) kgorman were all around.
eric and i did well on the time trial....
i finally got the car to behave the way i like. love CCW and RA1's. i just dropped my 2000 miles mpsc in the trash can, what a POS.
the RS now has 8100 miles. anyone close that that yet?
That was the best time that I've had at TH. John's car got allot of attention from fellow Porsche fenatics and he was constantly pestered for rides. I now know what it's like living next to a movie star.

I told you about the RA1. I'm glad you like them on the 997 RS. The best part is that they last twice as much as the MPSC (with my 8/10th driving). They won't scare you in the rain, look at the SCCA WCGT cars running them in chilli and wet conditions.
Please, don't put too many miles on my next car...

Mooty, we met briefly when I was chatting with, I believe Jeff, in the SY 6GT3. Had the silver 6GT3 with the hydraulic line leak problem, which btw I managed to fix and get a final run in the last session on Sun. Still learning and running in intermediate so not out playing with the big dogs yet( if ever.. but I'm being optimistic).
Didn't stick around for the TT so I'm curious how it went. What class is the RS and what times did you lay down? I'm assuming Bob Murillo in the cup car got TTOD as I think he can drop a 1:54 or there abouts when pushing.

ah yes, i remember you. you are parked right across jeff.
jeff makes us all look like chicanes. i think we need to make him run in a class all by himself. he doesn't come on RL much, so i can bad mouth him all day
yes bob in cup car did 154. he's not in my class.
996 and 997gt3 are all in TT4.
i think joe gehman (silver 996gt3) and i both did 204, i think he's just a bit faster than me. usually he's a lot faster than me.
jeff in SY 996gt3 was 2:01, SY is the fastest color you know. i am repainting my car to yellow this weekend.
Yes. What a great time. I noticed the people that GGR events has changed a bit. For awhile there it seemed like everyone in attendance was an old fart. Better old fart to young fart ratio now. Sorry old farts. Oh, yeah heard over the loadspeaker murillo did do a 1:54
