I believe the sound ceiling at TH is 103dB (at least over the weekend). Threre was a GT3RSR at the event last weekend that was black flagged and measured at 109dB according to the owner.
Maybe check with Holger as he's pretty loud (can't rememeber if he has muffler bypass) and was running several weeks ago at TH with no problem.

bypass should be fine but straight pipes will put you over 103dB

I usually run with the muffler bypass pipes, because there is no way I can hear my 6GT3 with the stock muffler and my Shoei helmet.

That's the beautiful thing about the 7GT3 and the sport button on track days.

I don't understand why they measured sound in the first place. We had gone out early in the month with HOD and someone was running a NASCAR COT. It had to be the loudest thing that I have ever heard and that includes military jets at take off. My ears hurt with my helmet on when the driver fired up the car in the grid.

Harry Demas got black flagged for 110 db. He drove his 993 with supercup mufflers and no cat.

I bet it feels like they're all poking in your lower back?? My girlfriend's cooper S is the worst I've tested so far. When the baby will come (she's due for mid November), I have a feeling I'll be stuck with the cooper S, I might have to get a bucket for it too.

In my GT3 seat, I removed the extra padding and so far it's the best setup I've had.
