Hey, 204 is mov'n and well outside of my frame of reference. Great time Mooty!
Gehman mentioned to me he still wasn't quite comfortable yet with the GT3 vs. his old 996. I'm betting he'll get there eventually.

But a 2:01 from Jeff in his 6GT3 is pretty sick. Must be that cup R&P upgrade. Mooty, you need that

Sure sound like you guys had a blast.

Hey mooty, what was going on with the black tape on rocker panel??

BTW don't know if #18 was earlyapex but that car is stunning. Sitting low, just how I like them.

#18 is early apex.
black tape is called tiger stripes, it makes me go faster, the track is CCW, so i put the tape on the right side (loaded side) it really helps. try it next time.

seriously, i was driving to track at 4am, i stopped to buy donuts for early apex, carlos and pat. i want them to get FAT, so i have more advantage on track. but being 1/2 blind, i drove over a planter curb, so the skirt is hanging loose!, gladly i didn't kill my new wheels and tires....

and that wasn't even 1/2 of it. i forgot to get my driving suit that morning. and without it i can't run PCA time trial, so i drove home to get it, wasted 30 min...

then another incident having to deal with some wheel bolts... dont ask. i was surprised i actually got to drive that day!

Your wheels do look fantastic. Glad you like them, I will definitely keep these in mind for a future set. Are fikse really worth the price difference??

i have CCW wheels on the RS.
fikses are 2x the cost, but have a more finishing touches. CCW C14 has no center caps and it's not something you want to put on a normal looking street car. but it does the job on track and are very very strong.

i bought TWO dozens.
i polished one dozen off while driving up. how do you think i stay awake on track! red bull dont work, KKD does.

i eat one dozen a day from 1988-1994 while in college and grad school. back then it was winchelles. they really help with studying.

i also had two from the box i gave you. it takes me two bites for each donut. i dont like to chew my food, any food. i inhale them. watch me closely next time we have dinner. if you think i drive fast, well, wait 'til you see me eat.

no, tires were on them when i got them.
erik with RS did though. i think front is 1-2 lbs heavier while rear is about same or vice versa compared to stock wheel/tire.

PM erik.

Is there a rules/regulations for Time Trials at Thunderhill? I love Time Trials.

My car is on its way to the left coast...

1. you need to attend PCA ground school, one sat 3-4 hours of class talk about safe track driving. mandatory even if your name is m. shumacher.

2. to run time trial, i "think" you need fire ext. not sure about roll bar and harness. my mechanic read the rule book and did my car, he's a tech station.

but you are in LA, different PCA zone, may have different rules. but they do more racing down south.

Hey - sorry for the late entry here. This is Jeff, fyi...

That was a fun weekend indeed. PCA GG put on a good show.

After seeing that 1:54.911 in the Cup Car, I think that's the way to go for me. That's 6.4 seconds better than I managed in my 6GT3. Earlier in the day I think everyone was quicker, as I got my best ever 2:00.23. Time to start the Cup Car search...

Mooty, you know you want that R&P! Then we'll have a good go at it!
