I doubt VERY seriously if he has the car. he is notorious for assuming a consignment. If you made an offer at that price, he would probably start looking for one so that price is at best bogus.

People underestimate the significance that color and PCCB's play in the RS market. Certain colors are clearly more sought after than others, and cars equiped with ceramics are bringing as much as a $10k greater premium than those with steel.

I tend to disagree.
Until more than half of the cars come out of the Porsche factory with ceramics, there is no premium available in the used market for ceramics.
I would also bet that at least half of the RS's sold worldwide came with steels.

This logic is nuts. Ok, well lets see if I will want to buy something used and one has and one has not? PCCB will bring more money for sure.

When selling my 996 GT3 most people were interested in the PCCB even though they were 1st generation. A person or 2 called and said they wanted steel- I believe on that sales experience more people want PCCBs and would pay to get them. There is a smaller percentage of people dedicated to steel. I agree with GBGT. What kind of baffled me was the amount of people that didnt read my ads.

According to my dealer PCCBs are a plus on resale. My dealer ordered my GT3 based on the car coming back to him on a trade. For resale he wanted just two options: PCCBs and heated seats.
