Default Scuffed spoiler fix

I have read several comments about the spoiler getting scuffed and have looked at mine with something approaching horror. There is not much I am not able to hit with it. Tried something today that "may" be a fix. I sanded the scuff marks out with fine grit sandpaper (I have read that steel wool also works) and then applied black shoe polish. After buffing, it looks pretty good from 10 feet away.

Just buy 2-3 front spoilers - they are disposable at just over a $130 each and simple to install.

I sand the lower edge anytime the burrs appear. Haven't replaced one yet as they're on back order. No point in changing until the original gets really thrashed. After a while you figure out how to limit extreme contact of the lip anyway.

If you're really worried about it I'm sure it could be removed, sanded and spray painted.

I used a razor blade to take the burrs off, easy. I'd use black spray paint before shoe polish though.

is that in Florida? I think it would be a good idea to get a couple before they figure out they will be selling lots

Light steel wool and black shoe edge dressing. Works like a charm.
