Default spring squeak

If I drive slow and turn, such as into a parking space or take a road bump slow at approx. 15mph, I hear a "spring" squeak coming from the passenger side. Is this normal on a 2007 GT3?

My '04 GT3 squeaks all of the time. My '07 RS doesn't for whatever reason.

Mine has a squeak on the passenger side (sound is so hard to pinpoint) for the first mile or two. Then it mysteriously stops. Worth a mention on the next visit to the dealer.

Default Spring squeak

Mine front springs would squeak occasionally - alternating between right and left. Now with 5K miles, the squeak is almost constant now. I'm sometimes afraid to push the car because of this noise. Will check with dealer. Also, mostly associated with slower speeds - 10-40 mph.

chking with dealer is a safe bet.
my "guess" is that the noises are from spring binding, if you only hear it at low speeds. if that's the issue, there's no prob pushing the car. you can have thrust bearing installed b/n the springs to eliminate the noises, but there really is no need for it. i left mine alone.

Wow. I just noticed that weekend on my gt3 with 6k miles on it.

It is most noticeable right at start. I thought my streering rack has something loose in it, but when it warms up its ok

My 997 GT3 developed this on both sides first the left side, and then a few weeks later the right side. The dealer can fix this (they should already have a service bulletin out on it), it involves rotating the spring a bit I believe.

Default squeak

My dealer solved my squeak noise from the front end of my car. Much to my surprise, the front sway bar bolts had become loose (I was wondering why my front end was starting feel weird at the limit). I had changed my front sway bar setting from 1 hole away from full soft, to 1 hole away from full stiff. The dealer thinks that the person I had change to bar setting for me may not have torqued the bolts properly. Seems likely because I did not have this problem before. Anyone else have problems adjusting their sway bars?
