Default Radiator intake grilles

Does anyone know of a company that makes grills to cover the opening for the front radiators. I had found one a couple of months ago in CA but did not save. Now that my orange rs has arrived I can't find the vendor again. I plan to powder coat them in black.

I had the cup car grills EDPed black. I'm told it will adhere better than powder coating in this application. I'll post pics when installed.

Check with Farnbacher Loles in CT. They put one on mine which is powder coated black and sits behind the opening. The ones for the cup car protrudes.

Thumbs up Cup Car Grills

These are the Cup Car grills on my GT3, they have already saved my radiators twice and thus paid for themselves several times over...

Default Grill

here is a different type. less obvious but the smaller openings catch more stuff. in addition it covers the thin slot in between the two main openings

Jim,

do you have a couple more pictures of the front end? I'm trying to decide if I go Cups or Farnbacher (I'm here in Danbury). I have the Cup screens already but have not made a final decision.

Thanks!!

Can these be installed as a DIY or does the bumper cover have to be removed?

How are the screens attached to the cover?

you have to take the bumper off and screw them on from the back. Farnbacher has both the cup types and these. the part itself is 300 and the labor less than 150. I thought it was quite reasonable seeing what is involved. they did a fabulous job with my fire extinguisher mount as well. put it next to the center console and did not drill any holes! I would not suggest you do it yourself unless you are very good and has the proper stand to hold the bumper cover while it is off. pretty easy to scratch up. You definitely want two pairs of hands to take that cover off.
