Default So that's how the front lip comes off!

It's really easy to take the front bumper lip off the car...strap in, get the car up to speed on a country road, and have a frickin' groundhog dart across the road in front of you!

Poor thing never knew what hit him. The lip has two screws (actually mine only has one now) at each end of the lip, and the rest just snaps into place. It was an easy fix on the side of the road.

Sorry no pics, I didn't have a camera. But you all know what a dead groundhog looks like anyway.

A piece of tire in the middle of the road on my way to Mid-Ohio on Friday did the trick on my 996's Motorsport lip. It had one track day! I called CDOC on the way to the track, and had the nice surprise to find out they were only charging $104 plus $7.70 for shipping. The last one (Motorsport as well) was from TRG for $156 plus somethinglike $50 for shipping (and a lot of handling!). Austin, any comments?

What is it with Mid Ohio? That's where I was coming back from tonight when I nailed the groundhog. The IRL is testing there tomorrow and I was having dinner with friends.

The Penske trucks were gone? The piece of tire was actually in Detroit. The potholes are just not enough! Too bad you were not at Mid-Ohio this weekend! Or were you there with another car?

No, Penske was there, I signed in at Gate 3 right after Helio. I wasn't there last weekend, though, unfortunately. I was there with NORPCA a few weeks back. Love that track.

That's why I put the screens in! They've already paid for themselves.
