Default Rear spoiler center section; paint?

The center section of my rear spoiler is a bit flat, as it is not as shiny and in the sun you can see the fibers (almost) of the glass. My question is can this section be removed simply enough to send out and have painted or should I just live with it? I would have the dealer disassemble it and send it to my body shop.

Mine has a mirror finish, just like the rest of the car -- perhaps more so. Sounds like a quality control problem. Maybe the dealer can replace it?

Yep, easy to pop out and paint. My dealer did it for mine when I had that section painted red.
