It's all about the money
Porsche stock tops 1800.00 per share. Make as many as we can sell. And with the new 997 GT2, we only have one more 997 model introduction before the new (998) model lineup...the Turbo Cab. And then it starts up again.

I think the "debate" has been whether there will be new allocations or not and as finally dealers know, and have told to their customers, there are as some of us have said all along.
What's next? Oh yes, the welded plates!

I thought I was the only one who saw this. This is the line of thinking I have been under.

Regarding the factory welded plates...I'm not opposed to wagering a few dollars that those who have them are lucky as none of the incoming RS' are gonna come with those.

I heard today that PCNA is pleading their case, for PAG to make good on an earlier forecasted 200 3's and 100 RS's for the US (roughly doubling numbers).

I bet it will be a low percentage that will be that low....

So how many are gonna go at MSRP? A few honest dealers will sell to committed customers at MSRP, and more will sell for above.

well, yes and no.
most "somewhat" limited production cars, with super low mileage, will hold their msrp or higher after 10-15 years.

timing has a lot to do with it. if one of us parked a 996gt3 or 997gt3RS for 15 years with 500 miles on the clock, i am quite certain that. the KEY is wait for 10-15 years and dont drive it. a 100k miles 993TTS will drop in price like a rock, in fact low production cars will drop value faster than most cars % wise if you actually drove it. and by driving i mean 20k a year, drive it EVERYWHERE.
