How many RS have factory welded plates for mounting the RS rollbar. I have them and know a few of you do too. Is it only the Orange cars that have them? Not trying to be a smartass but I checked a Black RS and it did not have 'em...that owner's gonna be pissed!

move front seat forward, pull the carpet around rear passenger footwell area. it takes some effor to pull it up, pretty thick. you will see the plate, it's quite obvious. if you do a search, there are pix on this board somewhere.

I have them - vin 366
If you have them or don't post last 3 digits to your vin so we can see if there is a cut off on vin for those that got them and those that don't.

My vin: 2392...and I've got 'em.
Inasmuch as the first RS's were for the ROW, I suspect that is why the early vin numbered cars have got 'em, while later vin numbered cars do not.
Break seems to be (based on our "oh so large" sample), between 2475 and 2569
Can we narrow it down further?

My understanding is that if you don't have them you install the RS roll bar the same way you do in the regular GT3. The minimal installation is that you drill several 8mm holes and bolt the plates to the car from the bottom to the roll bar mounts.

The last 4 digits would be better. The last 4 make up the car's serial #.
I've been keeping track of which cars have plates...
