master-baiting??? is that when you work on a fishing boat for more than 10 yrs?

I believe your game is "masturbation". i didn't mention it though, you did.

Say little fish, may I respectfully suggest that you limit your posts to things you would say to my face if I was there? You're a little brave behind that keyboard but most of us here are somewhat more grown up. I don't believe that this is the "forum" for juvenile ad hominem name-calling.

Oh, and you can cease your half-attempts at wit, coloring Porsches suits you much better. Could you make me a nice green one when you're finished with your "models"?

i guess i dont understand the post.....there are very few cars out there that appreciate in value if you drive them... i woud hope if you are buying a RS your intention would be to drive it as it ws intended to be driven. i would hate to see Porsche make the RS next year even if i wasnt getting one,,,, it takes the " Mystic" away.. but they are a corporation they need to feed the animal behind the name.. so im sure its what ever makes them money they will do... thinking about my $ 2,000.00 option of black painted wheels on the GT3.... im sure that was a good inverstment ...lol

still never understand when someone is buying a "P" car and is worried about the value next year???? thinking maybe they wasted the money on busniess school... ???? or nevr bought a new Boat...lmao

My gut feel that above MSRP on an RS is silly, and I believe this fact will bear out in the long term. OTOH, MSRP buyers don't have anything to be concerned with. In fact, it's almost a lock that a 130k MSRP RS will hold more of its value than any other 911, including the 3.

My RS will be a July build and Aug delivery...will that make it an '08? and if so, do you feel that the "100" add'l '08's are in fact part of the original allocation of 229 and thus are dedsignated '08's only by timeline of production and not add'l cars to the original 229 + 30...?

I believe your July build will be a 2007 - Usually Porsche closes for a 2 week period in August and all cars produced after that period are dubbed the next model year. The build date, not the delivery date determine what the model year is. But we will only know after it is close to on the way.

Sorry you have to wait so long, drove mine yesterday and must say it is a wonderful car!

Default We have to...

Porsche has to come out with a 2008 RS or 2009 RS. And it has to be an improvement, like the 996 GT3 RS was an homologation special over the
996 GT3. Why? Although we are just into the race season, Ferrari enjoys a healthy advantage. Look at the entry list for this years Le Mans race.

Still think Porsche is done with 997 developement?

not sure if that applies to your inbound RS.

Did not mean to be rubbing it in, just feeling your pain! As far as the car goes, street use only so far. Still very fun to drive, not at fast as the GT2 but a better overall package. Street ride is better, handling is more precise and the engine note is equal to the GT2 with EP II Quiet!

Liking it more every drive.
