i concur.
the car does have some options, but not that much.
for those who has an allocation, obviously polar's car isn't ideal.
for those who doesn't have an allocation, jump on it.

hum.... i have a base car: 127k, just paint, mats.
if i were to sell it, must be a hot cake, no?

I just finalized mine Saturday and even so I seriously thought about this car because it is so similar to my spec. But I figured it should go to someone shut out.

But to tell you the truth, if I were to solicit PP for the car, I would do it via PM and never openly.

I'll bet PP has several soild offers quietly. I would not be suprised to see a post to the effect that it is sold already.

Taxes are an expense and to my mind not a premium. Considering market forces, his offer, if it comes to fruition, is quite reasonable.

Or perhaps the whole "demand" thing is overblown.

I would disagree. I PM seller with full price interest. I believe others have as well. The sale offer is well under market value, even with all the glitter.

For all the wannabe RS buyers...all the moaning and bitching 'bout how they were # 1 or 2 on the list but their dealers didn't get an allocation...how deposits were reneged upon, yada, yada, yada...guys, put up or shut up!!!

Maybe the way the car is optioned has something to do with it?

I think it's an ok deal.
Bobby, the reason people haven't jumped on it is the fact that it is now a used car, even with only 500mi. At the 150k price point I would want to spec the car exactly as I want, esp if you're on a list someplace anyway, what's another couple of months to get your toy just how you want it? jmo

I don't think that one should judge interest in polars car by posts in this thread. If I were a serious buyer, I'd be spamming him by every means possible, privately.

As I thought. A real buyer in this type of situation just quietly pulls out a checkbook.

Guess demand isn't overblown...

Not at all. From what I heard from Porsche dealers at ta road rally yesterday (and yes, I did it in my RS), "market" is $40-75K over MSRP, as hard as that is to believe.
I tip my hat to our eleemosynary colleague!
