No way. Definitely throttle lift off induced counterlock understeer.

To me it looks like brain fade on the part of whoever put the barrier that close to the corner. Probably would not be safe even for an autocross. IMHO

Well ... unlike the other recent Enzo crashes that lead to "half-off" sales ... looks like this one will be 25% off.

The Producer said two were wrecked; one was apparently already a salvage and used for the stunt. Another was damaged during filming accidently; I belive it's an internet rumor that it was totaled.

I doubt they totaled an Enzo as a publicity stunt...this bit of stupidity isn't going to put that many asses in seats.

Power understeer.

"Another exercise is to drive around the circle while gradually adding throttle. You will feel the car run a wider and wider path because of the increased speed and because, by accelerating, you are reducing the loading and therefore the grip on the front (steering) tires. You may get the sensation that not much is happening when you add steering. This is called power understeer. It also results in ear splitting tire squeal and abuse." SOURCE: http://www.rmcbmwcca.org/DrivingScho...Student_HO.pdf

My car did this a little too much prior to the mods, albeit at a much slower pace to an Enzo.

Seriously it was a marketing plug. Note: Who would put concrete retainer that close to a turn AND position severa cameras there?.....They got millions in ROI on that stunt...!!!
