Default What's this?? Hand Signed RS?

Just noticed this deck lid has been signed by someone and dated. What is the story with this? Are all RS signed? If so, this is cool.

I'm curious as to what is on the lower left of the pic on the bumper? Is that sky writing or marred paint?

Years ago they used to sign the engine. According to the factory tour guide I had, they stopped because buyers started requesting certain builders when ordering their cars. Looks like Porsche has restarted the tradition.

I can read Helmut Schmid and this is the name of a VW designer if I'm right.
Where does this picture come from?

The cars are signed under the taillights, sometimes you have to look real close to see it.

LOL- I'd sign it but I'm afraid it wouldn't bring any more 'value' to your car!

Funny though- I just looked under your hood, and w/o actually taking off the rear tailight I saw no signature. Maybe it's there?!

Tech session was great, people were drooling over the cars and amazed at seeing your RS. More so then the CGT! I actually got a ride in a clients 997TT with his new exhaust system that he's developed and will be selling- the car sounds amazing!

Once Jims and your car is gone out of the showroom- it'll just be another boring showroom!

Glad you love the Bluetech, such a great car! Thing will go for EVER! See you soon Bill!

That is cool! I've seen this on random cars as well. We had a Cup Car show up with 2 signatures on it. I think they do it after the beer cart comes around at the factory.

I enquired about the beer vending machines on the factory floor (its common in Germany where beer is branded as food). I was told that normal practice is for the vending machines to only work with smart cards which the workers can charge up to pay for canteen meals, soft drinks etc. I was also told that if a worker has more than two beers a day (smart cards, track what your worker eats and drinks), he or she gets 'counselling' from an HR person, and could end up on a program.
The same big brother also decided that ordinary workers can't drive Porsches, even if they can afford it, something about debasing the brand...... However as there appear to be more supervisorors than dogsbodies, its not an issue.
Detroit strikes me quite differently when I visit, the music is better for one thing.

So is it okay for the ordinary workers to drive VW now that Porsche is taking them over?

I think Im going have try and have a few pro drivers sign my cup car, why not right. I dont think it'll devalue it unless I get a Crapcar I mean Nascar signature on it by mistake.
