Default Porsche Factory in Zuffenhausen This Friday

I am in Germany now and if all goes according to plan I hope to see some North America Spec 997 GT3 RS on the assembly line on Friday.

I got to see the newly assembled RoW 997 GT3 last trip.

That would be fun. I want to see all five colors and check out the bare roof structure (if I'm lucky).

It appears that implicit in this request, is Bobby's permission for you to run it in for him. Have fun!

Enjoy your time here in Germany! This week it's so warm here (+15*C) that I really have to ask myself why I put my GT3 off the road over 'winter'.

Greetings from Stuttgart

If you go behind the building of the dealership across the street you may see some parked there.
This is what I saw last time I was there.

Thanks. Today it got very windy where I am and a major drop in temperature.

I have been there before and will see what I can do on finding North America 997 GT3 RS. As Colm said no photography on Porsche AG's factory property.

Absolutely. I typically ask a lot of questions but getting reliable answers and details is always hard. The engine inspection and tests do vary over time as Porsche AG tries to reduce costs and maintain the quality. I think we have common ground on how long the engines are at the test station but how long they actually operate them on the dyno and at what rpm levels these days would be nice to know.

As I said on my last visit the 997 GT3 and Turbo engine assembly line has been separated from the normal engine assembly line.

I will try and check this forum while I am in Zuffenhausen tomorrow.
