So far so good!!

Don't forget belts and cross member for sub belt. The seats are very comfy and i'm sure the wife will approve.

Do you want advise on other mods or just asking about bar and seats?

you can get the seats for or under $2600 and buy the alcantara cushions from carnewal for bout $450.
tequipment roll bar is another option (~$1000). contact hms motorsport and you can order schroth harness that came with the 996 gt3 clubsport. lap belts will mount directly to the seats with no addditional hardware. as cway27 said you will need sub belt cross member.

good luck.

most DE/trackday programs will also require a mounted fire extinguisher.

be honest with yourself. if you do 5 days/year, just leave it 100% stock, run high temp fluid, you will be more than fine.

if you do 10+ days/year, then your list is right on.

The Schroth belts that fit the GT3 seats are pretty cool. But they are also priced about $200 more than the standard Profi setup (I'm a Schroth distributor). Also, this means they are permanently affixed to the seat. It is WAY more popular to use the standard clip in Schroths with the BK mounts. This way you can take out the laps when not in use and not risk having them flop around and scratch something.

You may wish to check and see if a tequipment roll bar is acceptable for the track.

What am I missing here? Both my dealer and I are under the impression that the fire extinguisher and rollbar are standard on the RS. I have a March build.
