My white one arrived today.

My white one arrived today.
I haven't driven it yet, that will have to wait until we return from holiday travels. But my first track days are January 7th and 8th at Laguna, so I'll be sure to cover ample miles before then. Rest assured I will not be holding back to 4000rpm (other than perhaps past the sound check.)
Give or take variables in port and transport delays, it seemed like an impossible coincidence several weeks ago when the arrival date lined up with my birthday. If this is my birthday gift -- I wonder what Santa could have in store for me?
Sincere thanks to Colm (and Happy Birthday to you!) and Viper Bob and others who've help me along the way -- buying a GT3 is a team effort!
Season's greetings to everyone on Rennlist, cheers,

Thanks. I'm not yet ready to declare it the replacement to the 996 GT3 -- which has accounted for itself with no question and no concession. I'll just have to take in those first few miles and months. But there's no doubt in my mind, the 997 is very easy on the eye.

Very good track day operation -- focus on track time at good track (Laguna, Sears, etc.) and no tolerance for risky drivers or unsafe track junkers.
