US Allocations of GT3 RS
Just heard that there will be 259 RSs brought to the US -- 229 (as indicated previously) plus an additional 30 "pool" cars, with allocations among P dealers to be determined. Can anyone confirm?

Watch this go to the Magic number that has been floating around for a while of 299 and we have what was orginaly planned last year.
I still say like before we will see a few 2008 RS cars.

According to my source, there are a number of unhappy dealers, especially those who did not receive ANY allocations -- I wonder if this is some effort to appease them. Or, perhaps Porsche's way of building a few extra to meet demand. Apparently Porsche has allocated additional "pool" cars in the past, in similar situations where a model is "limited production."

Pool Cars...pre configured units...no spec'ing or ordering they just arrive at the dealers.
Decked out with all those fancy & costly cosmetic options.
Something for he showroom.
Let the "Market Adjustments" begin.

my WILD guess is that there will be more than 300 RS's.
why limit production, this is prosche we are talking about. they want profit.
but i couldn't careless. i, in fact, want them to make 1000's of RS. that way my replacement wing, lip, rear deck and motor/tranny will be cheaper.
