Default GT3RS MSRP or over?

How many of you that have ordered a GT3RS or are on the list have been told that you will have to pay over MSRP? If so, how much?

My dealer is giving me the hard time regarding pricing.

Mine is at MSRP, which is a sizable sum!

Is the North America 997 GT3 RS MSRP $123,200 as printed in the Panorama magazine?

My dealer marked up its first GT3 25K on a over equiped model. He'll do the same I'm sure on the RS.

It seems like for the most part, everyone that put down a depsit is paying MSRP and the dealers that are getting an unclaimed car are having a bidding war for it. Is this true?

Not in S.Calif. There are a number of dealers that either did not take deposits or have now chosen to not honor them and charge what the market will bear!

even worse one dealer ordered the car as they like it and will bring it to the showroom and then
bidding starts..so you get a car over MSRP and not even have the chance to order it as you want!

MSRP for the RS and 2500 off MSRP for the GT3....may have room yet to haggle on the RS.

I'm paying MSRP. Was #1 on list, dealer got allocation of 1 and honored it. That's the way it should be.

I have been lurking here for a month now as I have the number one allotment for a 997 GT3 RS in our area. I have been reading with interest your comments and ideas about how you were going to configure your cars. The stealer called tonight as I had sent an email saying that a number of you here had already ordered yours and received build dates. Tonight shortly after dinner, the Sales Manager called to advise me that the car would still be mine, however, it would receive a Market Adjustment as the owner had been to a dealers meeting over the weekend. I have a $ 5K deposit on my Am. Ex. card and an email stating that the car was mine and would not be sold over MSRP. Is there no honor amongst these toads?? When I asked them how much more they intended to steal from me above MSRP I was advised that they weren't sure yet. Is it time to go legal with these toads or will calling PCNA have any bearing on these people??? I worked for Porsche for seven years back in the 70's and 80's and I don't remember them behaving like this. Sorry for the rant, I am just so angry I can't stand it at the moment. Any advise will be appreciated.
