As they say, "There's no stupid questions, only stupid people." : )

My build date is late Nov and I could still tweak the spec around the 1st of Nov --not including some stuff like paint or exclusive stuff that would add weeks and months.

The GT3 and the idea of a Cab are pretty separate. I like the 997 Cab appearance , especially when it's in the opposite lane going the other way and looks just like the coupe until the last glance catches the slightly narrower head line.
Moving out of good weather into the few weeks California calls winter, I'll focus on snowboarding. I baulked at the sticker of the 4S Cab (even with $15K discounts) and the boring old Carrera is already more powerful than any previous Cab (with an obvious exception) so then you step down the slope a little to the S Cab. Maybe tweak it with daily driver stuff like Nav, warm seats, some extra leather and you're back close to writing a check for $100K.
Well, with the GT3 arriving, it will either blow my socks off and I'll keep it, or I'll sell it and keep the 996 GT3. I've just had seven tracks days with the 996 and it will be a hard act to follow. But there are other options. Too many for posting.

Cheers,
