Default The BH GT3 now on eBay

The Beverly Hills GT3 that was seen here in pictures here is now on eBay with a starting bid of $147,000
Ebay Link

This IS the car that was delivered to Beverly Hills and photos were posted here first.
How do I know....the window sticker photo VIN matches the eBay ad.
MSRP on this car was $122,815
http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d5...anmtl/gt35.jpg

To make money on this titled car the CA tax & licence fees must be overcome...
I wonder what the reserve really is.

Anybody who steps up to the plate for this car is just plain nuts

Default Odd

My dealer called me to and asked me if I wanted the car. My car is on the boat right behind this one. I said maybe, how much? Slightly over sticker. "No thanks I will wait a month. "

I offered to post the car here, so maybe a rennlister could get it.

The salesman told me the guy leased the car and that it was sold for over sticker. He did not say how much.

Supply and demand can be an odd thing???

Ebay will determine the demand.

That's one of the reasons why 997 GT3 RS and GT2 allocations are not a concern for me.

Other reasons:

- First time GT2/GT3 buyers that return the car because it's too loud, too firm, too low.

- Porsche is building more cars than ever. The 2007 GT3 and GT3 RS allocations are close to 800. Porsche sold 959 U.S. 996 GT3 in 3 years.

why would Porsche allow a dealer to do such a thing? This is the kind of things that discourages many from buying at a dealership or it causes multiple deposits at multiple delaers hoping one of them is honest, the other problem is those of us who participate, just say No, wait and spec your car the way you want it, dont pay over msrp

Porsche allow a dealer to do such a thing?
I don't understand

It appears that this is a titled car being sold as used.
The dealer got his deal, and is happy.

The purchaser must think that because of where he lives...Los Angeles ...there are people with stupid amounts of money to throw at a car, just to have somthing they have no idea of how to drive.

I'm sure well see pics of wadded up quarter panels in the near future..

Crazy wording in the ad. They devalue it with their description.
As for dealers gouging, no, they call it "market price."

I was thinking about picking it, up but the sellers ZERO feedback killed the deal for me.

oops didnt realize car was already titled and sold, never mind the above about dealers
and perhaps this is a positive where the dealer sold at MSRP, but also probably irritating to the dealer to sell a car to have the owner put it up on ebay while others are waiting and would have taken delivery for themselves

the seller on ebay shows to be superior motors of sherman oaks.
so it's most likely not been titled and is still on mso.
probably just a used car dealer hoping to get a premium.

Near on impossible to get a car with MSO in CA...A friend of mine with a dealers tried reciently, DMV wants their money and accounting for all cars.

Interesting the address for Superior Motorcars is a 1250 sq ft condo..

Think he is just a service listing it for the owner for some dough

I asked him who would be dumb enough to pay $25k over, his reply:

"I turned down 20 yesterday.
So go f yourself."
